About the Book

Hazel didn’t remember much of her childhood except for growing up in an orphanage in Salem, Massachusetts. She wasn’t even sure how she got there but she knew she didn’t want to stay.

Being a quiet girl, friends didn’t come into her life easily. As much as she tried, they just weren’t interested. Time passed and Hazel went to live near the sea. There she didn’t always feel quite as alone as she really was.

Hazel knew many enchanting things were above, under and across the sea. Then one day as if by a spell, the sea did bring something enchanting to her shores.

What it was, she didn’t know.

Where it came from, she didn’t know either.

But she was about to find out as magical things start happening that change her life forever….
